Author Guidelines

SUBMISSION FORMAT: All manuscripts must be submitted as a SINGLE PDF FILE — one file containing the full text, tables, figures, and references. Prepare your manuscript using the official MyJMS template (available in Microsoft Word and LaTeX from the journal's "About the Journal" page and homepage), then export it to PDF before submitting.

USE OF AI: If generative-AI or AI-assisted tools were used in preparing the manuscript, include a brief AI-use declaration before the reference list, naming the tool and its purpose. Authors remain fully responsible for the content. See the Publication Ethics page for the full policy.

Manuscript Structure: Title Page (title, author names/affiliations/ORCID, corresponding author contact), Abstract (200-250 words), 4-6 Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review / Related Work, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if any), References, Appendices (if any).

 

Formatting: Length 3,000-8,000 words excluding references, typed using the official manuscript template. Referencing style: APA 7th Edition for all disciplines. Figures and tables must be numbered sequentially, referenced in-text, with captions and source attribution where applicable. Language: English (British or American spelling accepted, used consistently).

 

Submission Requirements: The manuscript must not be published or under review elsewhere. A signed authorship/originality declaration is required at submission. All authors must be listed with institutional affiliation and at least one contact email.

 

Author Fees: MyJMS currently charges no submission fees and no article processing charges (APC). Publication is free for both authors and readers.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • The manuscript is submitted as a single PDF file, prepared using the official MyJMS template.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Copyright Notice

Authors retain copyright of their work and grant MyJMS the right of first publication. Upon acceptance, authors license their article under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing free reuse with attribution. Authors may deposit their published version in institutional or subject repositories immediately, with a link back to the original publication in MyJMS.
