Publishing Process
Every manuscript submitted to MyJMS moves through the same transparent, double-blind workflow — from initial submission to final open-access publication. The typical time to first decision is within 8 weeks.
Submission
The author submits a single-PDF manuscript through the online system, together with a signed originality declaration.
Editorial Screening (1–2 weeks)
The Editor-in-Chief or a Section Editor checks scope fit, formatting, and similarity (plagiarism) screening. Out-of-scope or unoriginal work is desk-rejected with brief feedback.
Double-Blind Peer Review (4–6 weeks)
At least two independent reviewers assess the manuscript. Author and reviewer identities are withheld from each other throughout.
Editorial Decision
Based on reviewer reports, the editor issues one of: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.
Revision & Re-Review
Revised manuscripts are re-assessed by the original reviewers (or the editor, for minor revisions) before a final decision.
Copy-Editing & Publication
Accepted articles are copy-edited, typeset, assigned metadata, and published open access under CC BY 4.0 — freely available to read and download immediately.
