Self-Archiving Policy

MyJMS encourages authors to self-archive. Because articles are published under CC BY 4.0 with authors retaining copyright, authors may deposit and share their work freely.

In all cases, please include a citation and a link back to the published article in MyJMS. There is no embargo period.

Digital Preservation

To guarantee that content remains available for the long term, MyJMS:

  • Deposits published issues with the National Library of Malaysia (Perpustakaan Negara Malaysia, PNM) as part of ISSN registration.
  • Is enrolling in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) — a free, LOCKSS-based archiving service built into OJS — from the first published issue.
  • Retains independent full backups of the OJS database and files, separate from the hosting provider.
